In addition to carrying out heat treatment, INTEC-HEAT has its own engineering department that offers specialist services such as: thermographic analysis, heat transfer calculations, analysis using finite elements, and furnace commissioning.
Thermographic analysis involves measuring temperatures accurately without physical contact using high-accuracy thermographic cameras. In the area of heat treatment, this allows us to verify the development of the process and temperatures reached in each area, even if they are not directly involved and without thermocouples attached to the part.
The use of analysis with finite elements allows us to analyse the tension generated during heat treatment before it happens. This guarantees safety and stability of the equipment during the process, allowing us to adopt reinforcement measures if needed. This is especially important for equipment with thin parts subjected to high temperatures which could have their shape compromised.
