Intec Heat has completed the heating in the start-up of the Flash Smelting Furnace during the largest technical shutdown that has been carried out in Spain, in one of the most important non-ferrous materials industries. The heating work lasted 8 days and the furnace temperature was raised, according to the customer’s specifications, up to 1,240ºC.
It was necessary to use 5 burners of 8,000,000 BTUs.
At the same time, the drying of the refractory was carried out in the 8 matte launders with GL30 Gasoil burners.
